Abstract

Two-stage ABCM are distinguished by higher efficiency compared to single-stage ones. These units, unlike single-stage chillers, use two condensers or two absorbers in order to achieve a more efficient separation of the refrigerant from the absorbent at a lower cost of thermal energy.
