Abstract

Expressiveness is the ability to convey to listeners the main idea of the work and their own attitude towards it by means of oral speech. Reading expressiveness is interrelated with other reading qualities. Without the correct sounding of graphic signs, it is impossible to understand individual units of the text, without understanding the meaning of each unit, it is impossible to understand their connection, and without the internal connection of the separately taken components of the text, the idea of the work will not be realized. In turn, understanding the general meaning of a work helps the correct reading of its individual elements, and correct reading and understanding of the text becomes the basis for the expressiveness of reading.
